Recently, I've just felt as if there's really nothing I could do anymore but to submit to the Will of God. Smile............ Although I believe "For we are His Masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them", as a human I still can't help but to ask "Why" or "Why now"?
Time will heal all wounds. Time will make things easier.
What cannot kill me will only make me a better person for it - Yes, although I may not agree all the time.
I came across this verse, beautiful for its time:
The Will of God is never take you where the Grace of God cannot protect you.
It's not a bible verse, yet it's still God's wisdom.
I found this poem in its entirety. Author unknown.
The will of God will never take you,
Where the grace of God cannot keep you,
Where the arms of God cannot support you,
Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs,
Where the power of God cannot endow you.
The will of God will never take you,
Where the Spirit of God cannot work through you,
Where the wisdom of God cannot teach you,
Where the army of God cannot protect you,
Where the hands of God cannot mold you.
The will of God will never take you,
Where the love of God cannot enfold you,
Where the mercies of God cannot sustain you,
Where the peace of God cannot calm your fears,
Where the authority of God cannot overrule for you.
The will of God will never take you,
Where the comfort of God cannot dry your tears,
Where the Word of God cannot feed you,
Where the miracles of God cannot be done for you,
Where the omnipresence of God cannot find you.
"Everything happens for a purpose.
We may not see the wisdom of it all now
but trust and believe in the Lord
that everything is for the best."
With that, I'm ending this Sunday God First post not with a scripture this week, but with this verse, full of living breath,
The Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God cannot protect you...
I begin my week here on Active Rain with my God First posts, written every Sunday once a week. My promise to you is that the messages I share will be day-to-day related, often times related to real estate. If these topics are important to you also, I'd love for you to subscribe to my blog.

In His Perfect Will

Great post!!!!! I LOVE the God first blogs!!!! Great way to keep this business in perspective.
That poem just sends chills through me just knowing that every single word of it is true. God first.
And to second this, I also learned something to share;
God never test us harder then what we can prevail through.
And with this God First post, I'm putting my past behind me, knowing that it is for the better. Moving forward knowing my best life is lived in His perfect Will....
Great posts. Sunday is my chosen day of rest to spend in the WORD. Is it ok to post this as a public profile blog though? Your brokerage name is great! John 3:16 is the one verse that most every Christian can quote!
Good Morning, Loreena, What a beautiful, inspirational post.. A very timely one for me. Thank you for sharing with us. Have a blessed Sunday.
Good morning Thomas - I'm not sure if I understood your question. But if you are asking if I should be talking about God in my real estate blog, well the truth is that I'm doing this because I'm answering my calling right here on this blog. Smile.
Don't you love the comfort and security that the truth of this verse brings? It's very comforting to me to know that I will never, ever be out of my Father's protective reach.
What a beautiful verse for this Sunday morning Loreena and very timely too. God bless you and as always, I love your God First posts on Sunday :)!
I love your Sunday posts, so full of faith. Beautiful verse and a wonderful thought to begin this special day.
Good Morning Loreena, a perfect post to start our Sunday off right! Thank you :)
Wonderful solace in today's God First post Loreena. Thank you so, so much!
He is waiting for us to submit to His will. Many great things happen when he is in charge.
Thanks Loreena for sharing that poem. May you and your family have a blessed week.
Amen sister. There's a certain "freedom" in submitting to His will, one that we cannot even begin to understand until we're actually there.
Loreena, is not it said that God never gives us something we can't handle? I think this is true and your very nice poem illustrates that.
Forgetting what's behind me, and looking on to what's ahead, I strive to obtain the prize for achieving God's will for me in Christ. Fitting poem for your thought, Loreena.
