Summer Pops 2009 - Sunday, June 7
It's that time again! Pack your picnic baskets and bring your blankets, chairs, friends and family to enjoy the sounds of the Charlotte Symphony Summer Pops 2009 beginning today (Sunday), June 7, 2009. Preludes begin at 7PM and the concert ends at 9:00PM.
So, after you've packed your picnic baskets (with your Taste of Charlotte fare), come over to Symphony Park (behind SouthPark Mall) for "The Charlotte Symphony Goes Country."
From the Wild, Wild West--enjoy tunes such as John Williams' The Cowboys, Aaron Copland's "Hoedown" from Rodeo and Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! among others from the American frontier.
A good time will be had by all!
