Poor White Space...A Racist Post?...Or Only Pertinent In Advertising...???

While at a checkout line this morning, at a local WaWa (The Northeast's version of a high class 7/11)...this thought struck me...  

I was waiting to pay for a breakfast sandwich which costs $2.43...and since I had a pocketful of loose change, I proffered to the cashier 7 quarters, 6 dimes, a nickel, and three pennies...but instead of handing it to her all in one handful like a five fingered dump truck...I carefully laid it out on the counter so she could count it quickly and easily...4 quarters...3 quarters, 2 dimes, and a nickel...4 more dimes and 3 pennies...  

At a quick glance even a mathematically challenged cashier could get it right...and quickly...!!!  

What does this have to do with real estate or blogging...??  

Plenty...Hang in there with me a second...!!!  

You should all know by now how critical 'white space' is to an ad or article...critical in the sense of making the ad or article 'POP' and rendering the same more readable, more legible, more effective in getting the message across...  

Now apply this same phenomenon to our daily lives...work as well as play and leisure...  

Do we have enough 'white space' around US...???  

Or do people observing us see a bunch of critical mass all jammed or lumped together...!!!  

Some of us may talk too fast, or walk too fast, or say too much, or punctuate ourselves too little..this is all living with too little 'white space'...  

It is still Lent for most Christians, and an opportune time to take a reflective look at ourselves...let us all back up a little, slow down a little, and without becoming over scrupulous, see to it that we have enough 'white space' in our lives...

If not...create some...getting rid of 'utter clutter' isn't a bad idea...  

I know I felt a lot lighter leaving that WaWa with a lot less change in my pocket...!  

Our businesses, our families, our friends, and maybe even some strangers will all be better drawn to us and our message...!!!
