I can't tell you how many sporting activities we have participated in since early spring which have advocated and promoted BREAST CANCER AWARENESS by displaying plenty of pink...pink baseballs, pink bats, pink shoes, spikes, shirts, hats, lapel pins, ties, ribbons, etc...
And this is all good, but are we as a culture missing the REAL point...???
If we are sincere in eradicating cancer, particularly BREAST CANCER, and I think most of us are sincere in this regard, maybe we should be wearing BRIGHT RED...which, to me, is more indicative of the serious threat that CANCER really represents...
Are we merely putting a band-aid on a more serious problem?
Read THIS ARTICLE, then tell me why more people are not aware of this and why the media doesn't promote and highlight this type of news...!!! This article appeared almost a year ago, and it is the first time I have read it...
Well, in keeping with the promise to promote THE TRUTH on this blog, I hope many will take the time and read this article, do their own research, then spread the news about THE REAL TRUTH...!!!
We CAN come up with a cure for cancer, but first we must NOT ignore the plain and simple facts, even if those facts make some of us uncomfortable...
I'm not suggesting we change colors along these lines, it matters little what colors we choose to get our message out, but I am suggesting that we get at the real root of the problem...and QUICKLY...!!!
