I had this wacky idea today...!!! See if you've ever had this thought yourself...!!!
Most of you who frequent this blog, and for whom I am very grateful, know I am a staunch Catholic Conservative...and good or bad, I wear that patch on my sleeve for all to see...!!!
I consider myself humbly proud...yet always in need of daily conversion...!!!
At any rate, here's the thought I had...
Maybe I need to prove myself to my self...By stating the opposite of what I truly believe and value, I can do a.......well, a sort of 'SELF TEST'...a list of the teneleven UNCOMMANDMENTS:
***For example, I would believe that abortion is OK, and totally acceptable, especially in cases of rape and incest...!!!
***Further, I would shun a 'work ethic' for an entitlement attitude...
***Big Government solves all problems...and, the bigger, the better...
***The way to financial independence would be to spend like mad...especially using credit...money I don't even have...!!!
***Go green as algae...never touch any of the natural resources that God has given to us...let the oil, gas, coal, and other resources rot beneath our soil and our shores...!
***Keep raising taxes until most households net a mere 'allowance'...and especially tax the heck out of entrepreneurs and all those in business...!!!
***Instead of trying to grow capital through free enterprise, try to eliminate as much capital as possible...
***Interpret 'The Rule Of Law' as 'the one with the most laws wins'...and never, ever, enforce any laws...
***Legalize marijuana, cocaine, and other addictive substances...
***Take any mention of God, faith, and The Bible out of all of our schools, public places, and work areas...
***And lastly, take all power away from 'WE THE PEOPLE'...and place it in 'WE THE GOVERNMENT'...So instead of government employees serving the people, let the people serve the government...!!!
Get the picture...??? Personally, I'm not crazy about this somewhat 'benedictine' approach to self evaluation...!!!
