How Deep Is Your Pool...???...Caution: This Post Has Religious Implications...!!!

We do not have a swimming pool at home, but several of our neighbors do, and my children, who get invited to splash around in their various friend's pools, are often heard comparing and rating the pools...!!!  

Invariably, the pool that wins the most accolades is the one with the deepest end, the diving board, or the largest swimming area...  

Which leads me to the heart of this post...  

Recently in another recent post of mine, a commenter and myself engaged in a sort of 'mini-discussion' of the 'Good News', the Gospel, and how each of us understands it...!!!  

Oddly enough, there are atheists and non believers who are closer to MY 'world view' than some of my own Christian brothers and sisters...Should this be so...???  

Why not!  

I heard, years back, that the 'Good News' was shallow enough for a gnat to wade through, yet deep enough for an elephant to swim through...  

So be comfortable in your 'non cookie cutter' faith, always desiring to draw closer to the Lord, remembering always the words of the Our Father...Thy Kingdom Come...  

And as long as those words describe our mission and goals we should be on the right track...!!!  

I am a practicing Catholic...and still practicing...!!!
