Never Give Up On A Kid...!!!

It All Starts In Childhood...!!!

It's all about TEAMWORK...  

Actually, it really all starts in Little League...this is the place where you learn to accept orders and instruction from someone other than your parents or family...this is the place where you learn discipline and the need for coaching...and the skills to work and play as a team...  

I always worry that my children aren't coachable...  

Of course, as parents, we always seem to focus on the negatives, and don't credit our kids with enough positive reinforcement...We see our children reject OUR coaching and attempts at MOLDING them into fine ladies and gentlemen, and assume they are unreachable...NOT SO...  

Such was the case last night as my son Justin had a breakout performance in his little league game with three hits and 6 RBIs including a bases clearing triple...not to mention a couple of excellent defensive plays at short stop...  

You finally see that these kids, who at times annoy the heck out of you, GET IT...  

All they need is enough space to develop into the great humans that God destined them to be...  

Of course, I would be remiss to ignore the hustle and great defensive plays that Jared, Justin's younger brother, turned in at the same game...!!!  

What I always suspected was reinforced last night...NEVER GIVE UP ON A KID...!!!
