It's Sunday, the day after our 50th reunion celebration for the class of Bishop Kenrick High School class of 
1961...!!!
Renewed a lot of friendships and acquaintances last night. I sat next to a great friend, Matt Faust at dinner.
Matt and I have a lot in common...we are both avid Pro Lifers and avid practicing Catholics...!!!
Over the years we've been able to both attend the March For Life in Washington, and on the bus ride down and back to D.C. we were able to get caught up on each others family happenings...!!!
Last night we shared our common desire to see political changes in Washington...and ASAP...
We always took pride in our Country, even though we struggled with the abortion issue and specifically Roe v Wade, and don't like to see it going into the toilet...!!!
The graduating class of BKHS 1961 has lost over 50 classmates out of a total of over 350 and so, at a special Mass celebrated by Msgr. Charles Vance, a classmate of ours, we remembered those classmates as well as the deceased spouses of other classmates...!!!
All in all it was a great event...the food was good, the conversations were lively, funny stories were shared, as tunes from the 50s and sixties were played on an old fashioned juke box while some classmates proudly displayed their ‘still spry dancing moves'...!!!
I invited Matt to visit this blog and comment frequently as I truly value his opinions and insights...!!!
To Matt and all my classmates of The BKHS Class of 1961 I again say THANKS...!!!
