I'm convinced that our fast paced lifestyles are a ruse...
Do you think we really get more accomplished by our hustle, bustle, and whirlwind metabolisms...???
I say many are missing out on much for failure to read the signs along the way...!!!
Why is this...???
I wish I knew!
All I do know is that when I focus on a goal, then prepare myself to meet that goal (do my part), God seems to make the road to that goal much easier if I exercise a little patience, trust Him a little more, and recognize it's His work in the end...In other words, stay out of His way and LET HIM WORK...!!!
That puts much less pressure on me, gives me more time to enjoy the journey, and I can even take advantage and relish in the 'distractions' along the way...!!!
Moses found this out the hard way, and it cost him the privilege of seeing the Promised Land except from a distance...! He certainly did not enter it because of his lack of faith...too much Moses...not enough God...!!!
Saint John The Baptist was accounted by Scripture as the greatest man born of woman because he 
recognized that 'I must decrease, while HE must increase'...giving God ALL the glory...It wasn't the locusts and wild honey diet of John that earned him that privilege, but the WISDOM that comes with age and trusting in God.......and READING THE SIGNS...!!!
This Easter Holiday, if we learn nothing else, we must praise The Lord for HIS WORK, not our role in it...in fact, our only role in The Resurrection is the fact that HE DIED AND ROSE FOR US...No greater love hath man...!!!
