It's been raining here for over a week now...In fact, except for a few hours, the sun has been unseen or
unheard from, and temperatures have been in the 40s and 50s...not exactly your typical Spring...
Point is, this Saturday, Emily, our almost 9 year old, receives her First Holy
Communion, and of course Sunday is Mother's Day...
Two good reasons to be praying for good weather...!!!
Many will be preparing to mow their overgrown lawnspastures...I bit the bullet, and tried to mow mine last evening with about a two hour window of opportunity when the rain ceased..I'm not sure whether it improved the appearance of our lawn or created more problems...but at least those unsightly dandelion stems with billions of new dandelion seeds are gone...
Now, as soon as the weather breaks, and the events of the weekend are
history, I'll proceed to clean up and work on my mud covered lawn mower...!!!
The forecast is still calling for rain each day through Sunday, but, who knows, with a little prayer and coaxing, the Great Weather Maker may exert some influence...!!!
Here's hopingpraying...!!!
