Pennsylvania Weather...A Best Kept Secret...!!!

In over 65 years I don't remember our Pennsylvania weather being so 'picture perfect' as this year...but guess what...  

It's not so unusual as much as it is my suffering from a poor memory...actually, it's not even the result of a poor memory as much as it is a case of 'taking things for granted'...   Are we not guilty of this same recurring sin...TAKING THINGS FOR GRANTED...  

When you find yourself too deep and stuck in the mire and muck of that hole, pick up your Bible and read the book of JOB once more...  

And if you think the world is out of control and there is no one steering SPACE SHIP EARTH, take another guess...  

There is one thing you can be sure of and you don't have to take for granted...  

God, our Creator, is still at the helm, in control, and still supreme...  

Politics, rampant sin, bad morals, devious ethics, and even foul weather are all distractions to move our focus from God and onto our problems...  

Just at the time we need Him most, we feel Him least...!!!  

Which brings this post full circle...He never really is far from any of us...it is we who wander and stray from Him...  

Should we keep this a secret like the Good News by taking things for granted...OR...  

Ought we not shout it from the rooftops as Scripture encourages us...!!!
