Is it time to use the "I" word...IMPEACHMENT...???
In an election intended to send a clear message to Washington, not because of Republican popularity or a landslide change of power, but because of overwhelming public disgust, it appears some are still not getting the message...!!!
I remember in 1994, President Clinton was 'forced' to make a shift toward the center to appease voters who gave the Republicans a landslide mandate with their 'Contract With America'...he got the message and saved himself a second term...
When George H. W. Bush, the elder one, was forced to eat crow because he raised taxes after promising not to, he got the message by not getting reelected to a second term...
Even though, these two Presidents and George W. Bush, the younger, all seemed to realize that they were elected as PUBLIC SERVANTS...to do the will of the people by SERVING THE PEOPLE...
President Barack Obama doesn't give me the same feeling...He doesn't portray the image of a PUBLIC SERVANT to me...forgive me, but, he seems to resent being held accountable to the people, as was clearly evident during the passage of the almost 3000 page health care bill, the government bailouts, and the government and union takeover of General Motors...
These programs and others were unilaterally 'forced' upon Americans with out the due diligence of even reading the bills before passage, disrespecting bond holders of GM, and summarily hiring 100s of czars to carry out his (Obamas) agenda...!!! Wholly extra Constitutional at best...
American citizens, whom all elected members of Congress, The President, and Supreme Court Justices are bound by oath to serve, have been short changed and DUPED...!!!
Let me clearly repeat the message of this recent election, as enunciated by those elected...
The people do not want BIG GOVERNMENT...they don't want the government INTRUDING in HEALTH CARE...they don't want the government OUT OF CONTROL SPENDING to continue...
They want FISCAL ACCOUNTABILITY, SMALL GOVERNMENT, LOW TAXES, and NEW JOBS...!!!
Big Government vs Small Government shouldn't be a left/right issue...all Americans should be libertarian in this regard...Anyone who has ever complained about the US Mail, or The IRS tax code, or other 
government red tape programs should come together for SMALLER GOVERNMENT...
Perhaps our President needs some time to absorb the message or to come out of denial or come to the shocking awareness that he is a PUBLIC SERVANT for all Americans...If our President doesn't soon acknowledge these clear mandates of the electorate, perhaps it will be time to start including the "I" word in our public discussions...!!!
How else do you handle a servant unwilling to serve...???
