Mustard On A Hot Dog...Ketchup On A Hamburger...!!!

That title was a mantra of mine through most of my life...!!!  

And in a certain way it remains true...at least with me...  

But what it really shows is how 'set in our ways' we are...and by human nature how reluctant to change...  

At the same time that could be a VIRTUE or a VICE...  

We need to develop a sixth sense...a kind of discernment mechanism to help us sort out baby, bath water, etc...lest we change nothing or hastily get rid of something worthwhile...  

Prayer helps me sort things out...it helps me evaluate intelligently, yes, and sometimes using a trustworthy and dependable 'GUT'...!!!  

I still prefer mustard on my hot dogs and ketchup on my hamburgers, but I'm not rigidly tied into that formula...If my hamburger needs a bit more oomph, a dash of spicy mustard may suffice...But my hot dogs will never contain anything 'RED' on them...  

Hey, don't get me wrong, if you like ketchup on your eggs...have at it...just keep that ketchup away from my hot dog...!!!  

YELLOW KETCHUP...???
