On Wednesday evening, a very good friend of mine lost his 23 year old son when the young man was 
killed in a tragic motorcycle accident...!!!
I know the whole family well, and my thoughts and prayers will certainly be with them, but I can't imagine how devastating a tragedy such as this can be...!!!
It got me to thinking...
Is the young lad truly in a ‘BETTER PLACE' as my faith and the faith of his family believes...???
Scripture promises that HEAVEN is a place where ‘no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him...'
Yes, that means that, try as hard as we can, we cannot even begin to IMAGINE what heaven is really like...YET...
My relatively unused imagination CAN CONCEIVE of things like ‘INFUSED KNOWLEDGE'...‘INSTANT MULTI LOCATION'...‘NO DEATH OR SICKNESS'...‘NO WAR OR HATE'...‘OTHER PLANETS' and ‘OTHER GALAXIES'...just to name a few...!!!
In my 67 plus years on this Earth, I have come to believe more in what is UNSEEN than what my eyes can see...
Simply put, things rarely ever are as they appear to us or as they seem to be on this Earth...
Complete and ultimate TRUTH resides ONLY WITH THE LORD...and...He's in HEAVEN right now PREPARING A PLACE FOR EACH ONE WHO LOVES HIM...
What we see here on earth are merely GLIMPSES OF THE TRUTH...and the words of John Lennon's song deceive us when they encourage us to ‘Imagine there's no heaven'...
I can't even begin to imagine that...!!!
