Fran's Friday Forum...The Sound Of Retreat...!!!

Yes, it is again that time of year for my/our annual retreat...!!!  

I am fortunate this year to have all four of my boys, Jason, Josh, Justin, and Jared, AND my grandson Zach accompanying me on this 3 day retreat.  

As before, it will be held at The Malvern Retreat House, also known as Saint Joseph's In The Hills, in beautiful Malvern, Pennsylvania. Approximately 300 men will gather to seek the Lord's peace and Wisdom in an atmosphere where silence and beauty are held in high regard. The prayer, food, and fellowship as well are conducive to drawing closer to The Lord.  

I always look forward to this retreat at this time of the year because it places me in the proper Christmas spirit at this time in advent.  

The words in the last verse of Silent Night, 'Jesus, Lord at thy birth' come to mind...  

And after all, isn't that the reason for the season...!!!
