It seems these days that every move our President makes is counter to my Christian beliefs...!!!
I ask myself...WHY...???
I respect the office of President no matter who resides there...I refuse to demean our President, yet unlike some democrats who will always aim to kill the messenger, I just can't be complacent about the direction our beloved Country is headed...!!!
I will defend one's right to self expression, but I will also express my own views, particularly if they might help others to see The Truth...!!!
Now, John The Baptist, was thought by some to be The Messiah, but his work was to herald the coming of Jesus, The Bread Of Life and Savior Of The World...!!!
Many today, are waiting for the appearance of an/the antichrist...If Satan, the father of lies and the great deceiver, is ‘true' to form...inasmuch as he tries to 'imitate' The Truth, while there is no truth found within him, and he attempts to provide ‘counterfeit' solutions to JESUS...THE REAL TRUTH...
MAYBE, we ought to be looking for a precourser to Satan...instead of the antichrist himself...a ‘type' of phoney John The Baptist...a heralder of lies, deceptions, mistruths, halftruths, evildoing, turmoil, and the like...
Scripture, in 1 John 2:18 tells us that many antichrists have indeed already come...and this book was written by John The Evangelist, approximately 40 or 50 years after Jesus was crucified...
"Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that the antichrist was coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. Thus we know this is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not really of our number; if they had been, they would have remained with us. Their desertion shows that none of them was of our number. But you have the anointing that comes from the holy one, and you all have knowledge. I write to you not because you do not know the truth but because you do, and because every lie is alien to the truth. Who is the liar? Whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Whoever denies the Father and the Son, this is the antichrist. No one who denies the Son has the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well. Now, you need to chew on those passages to really understand the point(s)...keeping formost in your mind the goal of every Christian: ETERNAL LIFE...!!!
