In my last post I wrote about ‘HATE', and the proper time to express it...!!!
You can ‘HATE' onions or you can ‘HATE' politicians...One is no problem, the other may be counter productive...!!! You can figure out which is which...!!!
You see, in our Country, we ELECT our politicians...and sometimes we are forced to survive under corrupt and wrong minded and misguided ‘PUBLIC SERVANTS' who have no vision for our Republic, but are totally self seeking and self serving...
How is it that so many voters can be blinded by truth and select corrupt leaders...???
I don't have an answer, but I know from history, that there is nothing new under the sun, and people keep repeating the same mistakes...otherwise we would not have had Hitlers, Stalins, Maos, Pol Pots, Castros, Mussolinis, etc...
What we need is an informed conscience and an informed mind, so that we can see beyond the detours of life, see through the tricks of human speech, and see past the mirages of well designed propaganda...all of which delusions have been extremely effective in capturing even extremely intelligent masses...!!!
What I'm saying is we need to CAPTURE the right Spirit...!!!
Simply put, there are basically two Spirits that compete for our attention...The spirit of evil, and The Holy Spirit...
If we believe that without God's Spirit we would not exist, we are on the right path...It is the evil spirit that attempts to unseat God's Spirit within us...
The two Spirits are easily identifiable...the one is characterized by darkness, gloom, chaos, self seeking, jealousy, hate, immorality, coarseness, doubt, greed, lying, etc...while the Holy Spirit fosters peace, joy, charity, hope, unity, order, mildness, courage, and the like...
Just like we need to foster human friendships to make them last and endure, so it is with the Spirit...We need to get to know the Right Spirit by creating a relationship with Him...to be literally CAPTURED by Him...
You don't need to be brilliant and intelligent to accomplish this...in fact you need to be childlike so as to subordinate and subject your intelligence and brilliance, laying aside all, that He may be at the Center of our lives...!!!
This weekend, pray that you may CAPTURE the Holy Spirit, or Be CAPTURED by Him...!!!
