Almost two weeks ago, I posted a photo of a beautiful magnolia flower, fully developed, but closed tightly because of the cooler pre Spring weather...We thought it would be a good idea to monitor the specimen until warmer days caused it to proudly display itself in all its natural beauty...
Its day has come...!!!
And by past experience, will not last long..!!!
Observing this delicate, but predictably dependable process, reminded me of how we relate to stimuli around us...
Are we merely like the weather, complaining of aches and pains and sad when the weather is dreary or cloudy, and being cheerful when the weather turns warm and sunny...Or...Do we make decisions to maintain a positive attitude...in season or out of season...
Enjoy the proud magnolia, who, by destiny, praises its creator in all its splendor...
Then realize that we humans, by an act of our will, can be adorned like the beautiful magnolia whenever me make the choice...!!!
We are ALL children of God...let us all decide to be His happy children...!!!
