ANY PORT IN A STORM...!!!
Most of you have probably heard that old adage...AND...in prior days it may have been true much of the time...
In my childhood days I witnessed a world in which any and every adult looked out for any and every kid...especially to keep a kid out of trouble and insure a kid’s safety...
Now, however, when people demand change, and sometimes simply because they’re ‘bored’ with the ‘status quo’...they’re getting the change that they’re screaming for...
So much so that many even abhor change as something becoming too commonplace, and many now long for calm and stability.......and long to find that port in the storm of economic upheaval and political chaos which characterize our present day lives...!!!
It should be obvious that answers are not forthcoming from government, political experts, career politicians, idealogs, and yes, even concerned adults...
Where do we go from here...???
The answer is quite simple, really...
Back to the basics...BUT...have we forgotten the basics...???
Fortunately, there are still a few of those who remember which ‘ports’ to trust and which ‘ports’ to flee...
God, Family, Country (not government) should be our priorities...with PRAYER the catalyst which anchors our FAITH...!!!
