Caution: COMMON SENSE APPLIED HERE...!!!
All that I remember about Bolivia from my elementary school geography days was their chief export...TIN...
Yes, TIN, as in tin can, tin roof, tin cup...
Well, EVO MORALES AYMA, President of Bolivia, must be ingesting some of that valuable resource, as evidenced by his 'tin-headed' 10 commandments for solving the world's problems...
In fact, most progressives in our Country must be sipping the same tea he sips, or drinking the same Kool Aid he drinks...The Bolivian President, like many progressives we know, wants to eliminate Capitalism...that's just one of his inane commandments...
Perhaps he wants to stand around and watch while trillions of dollars worth of capital and wealth dissolve into thin air...dollars which could have been used to create more jobs, pay down more debt, improve more infrastructure, and raise living standards for millions...
Oh well, if his Country has printing presses, they can just print more money...isn't that what some other
countries we know are doing...???
And after the money is printed, Mr. Ayma, himself, can redistribute it according to whom he feels deserve it...That seems fair...!!!
We keep reinventing the wheel, instead of using the resources we have and listening to our best economists and our own common sense...!!!
Whatever has become of Common Sense...???
Have a great weekend...!!! GO SAINTS...!!!

That title should confuse enough readers and cause some to stumble upon this post who ordinarily would

Last time I checked, it took a woman AND a man to conceive a child...BUT...
When we hear the cries of anti-life proabortionists...we hear about the choice of the woman ONLY...
There are many other people surrounding a pregnancy whose choices are being silenced...MUZZLED, so to speak...
First of whom is God...the Author of life itself...and the third component in the egg, sperm, union
triumvirate...the intelligence that unites the egg and the sperm...
What about the choice of the baby...not old enough to make a choice, but nevertheless, a 'person' with the right to life, inalienably given by God, and the FIRST RIGHT guaranteed by our Constitution...
Then, there is the choice most neglected...the choice of the father...also denying a father the opportunity to become a DADDY...
Not mentioned, but very importantly involved in the pregnancy, must be choices denied to parents, siblings, & grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other family members...
So, yes, I am Pro Choice...in its truest sense...but I am also for consistency in thinking...logic...and common sense...
I am also of the belief that technology supports my Pro Life stance...and, if you think about it, you MUST be PRO LIFE BEFORE you can be PRO CHOICE...
But progressive thinking proabortionists, consistent with progressive ideology, refuse to give ear to common sense, or positions which 'make sense', but may require them to admit they have been wrong, and more tragically, may humble them to ask forgiveness and change...
God Forbid...???
NO.......GOD BLESS...!!!

With an incredible supply of homes for sale in today's Buyer's Market, it is crucial to position your home to sell in the shortest amount of time possible, bringing the best price possible. Begin by looking at your home through the eyes of a potential buyer.
There are five basic factors that ultimately determine whether a home is going to sell, or simply be one of many homes on the market with very few showings and no offers:

Buyers have many choices in today’s market. In order for a seller to maximize the selling price of a home, the home must be “Showroom Ready” and priced right! PRICE is determined by: CONDITION, LOCATION, SIZE, and FEATURES. A home that can rate a score of 10 in CONDITION, LOCATION, SIZE, and FEATURES can be more aggressively priced compared to a home that is deficient in any of the categories.
A seller CAN control CONDITION, FEATURES, and PRICE. LOCATION and SIZE are not features that a seller can control. So, let me show you how being objective in your VALUE rating... There are currently 25,657 condos, townhomes and single family homes on the market, and over the past three months only 5,176 homes have sold. To add your home to the 5,176 homes that have sold in the last three months, your home must be Valued as a 10 in: CONDITION, LOCATION, SIZE, FEATURES, and that will allow a 10 in PRICE. If your home is not rated a 10 in all these categories, then your PRICE will need to be adjusted for these deficiencies--again, remember location and size cannot be controlled so, adjust accordingly.
The Pond - Where is YOUR home in the pond?
The flow of sales activity in any real estate market is comprised of three categories of the homes that are currently on the market:
1. Homes that FLOW. Homes that are considered to be the best Value and Price flow into the market, leave the market SOLD in less than 45 days. 2. Homes that SHOW. Homes that are deficient in Value and/or Price may be shown, but they are not receiving any offers. Adjustments must be made in the areas that you DO have control - PRICE, Condition or Features in order to get the listing sold. Ask yourself where you want to position your house in this competitive Buyer’s market. Remember, any deficiency in the five categories of: CONDITION, LOCATION, SIZE, FEATURES or PRICE will remove your listing from the “Flow” of the market and place it in the “Show but no offer” category or worst yet, in the “Stagnant Mass” with no showings.
Here's a recent Market Absorption Trend which is another evaluation tool to use when listing your property: If positioned properly, your home will “Flow” right off the market! It will attract a buyer.
3. Homes that become the STAGNANT MASS. Homes that are greatly deficient in both Value and Price do not even attract showings. There is virtually no activity, and these listings will simply never sell.

I found this statement as part of one of my client's signature line. I sat in awe just for a few minutes to digest the significance of what she wrote.
Someone's life depends on you answering your calling - WOW.
Yes, your job on a daily basis is not as earth shattering as an emergency room doctor, or a neo-natal intensive care unit nurse. But who's to say a noble profession such as a pre-school teacher, or a customer service rep at T-mobile is any less?
A wonderful book changed the course of my life. For that, I am eternally grateful. I am so glad I left my old life in pursuit of my new. That's also the reason why you may enjoy my thoughts and my blog. Had I been the old person, you probably wouldn't like me.
The book is Purpose-Driven Life by Rick Warren. Back in 2004, I hit the lowest point in my life. I was in an accident that forever changed the way I drive near an 18-wheeler. It crashed behind a truck, the truck hit me and I hit the car in front of me. That incident scared me more than it hurt me (good thing). Then, a few weeks later, I found myself with a swollen left eye (size as big as a baseball). I found out that a bacteria was eating my kornea and it has just missed it by 1 mm. Had it started eating my iris first, I would have been blind. At that time, I was 28, still thinking I had a full life ahead of me, but being blind in 1 eye would have been devastating. Pretty gril but so sad, blind in 1 eye..... I didn't enjoy my corporate job and felt like I was a rat running on the spinning wheel with no where to go.
My dear husband had a bible study with his buddies from work. They did the Purpose Driven Life. Although he had always loved me dearly since we met, I felt the love he had for me became different (good different). I knew it had something to do with the book, so I read it for myself.
Life and things for me began to make sense. So, eventually I gave my heart to the Lord and never looked back.
It was in Africa 2006 when I decided to step up to my calling. I had started real estate part time in 2003 and God called me to Africa. He had something to show me. And secretly, I was afraid that He would call me to be a missionary. I didn't want that for my life.
One day in the villages of Kenya, I took a break from ministering to the ladies and children. I sat down by the grass and God told me to look over where the ladies were collecting water for their household. He told me,
Loreena - How much do I love the birds and the bees but look at them. They always search for food daily and I never left them hungry (Matthew 6). Now, how much more do you think I love you? Have I ever left you out in the cold to fend for yourself???
You worry about retirement. You worry about that constant paycheck that comes in every other week. When are you going to stop worrying and serve me whole-heartedly? Did you know life is more than just your 401K retirement fund? (I had issues with money security).
Now, look at these people around you. I've always kept them fed and warm. They are happy just the way they are. How much do you think they've stored away in their 401K accounts?
Just with that, I took my first bold step to tell my husband that the time is NOW. He supported me in my decision and I've never looked back. I came home and prayed about it more (just to make sure). As soon as I made the decision, I told my boss that I was calling it quits. I gave the company an 8-week notice when most people around me said I shouldn't. It was around bonus decision making time. But I had a bigger promise to my boss than the carrot (bonus) dangling in front of me. The last day of work, my boss called me in, wished me well and handed me my biggest bonus paycheck ever. It just gave me more financial security - something I was worried sick about.
I told him, "I wasn't expecting one since I'm leaving the company". He said, "Why wouldn't I? I worked a full year and the company did well. He's giving me my fair share of my extra hard work". Wow - God showed me fairness again and God showed me how I just need to do the right thing (I honored my word to my boss) and He will take care of the rest.
Today, I live God's calling in my life. Sure, I'm not a brain surgeon or a heart doctor and I'm never going to be smart enough. But my works are still very important. I don't have to wait until "I'm there or I'm perfect" to answer God's calling. Co-incidentally, He's always used the imperfect people to teach the "Perfect-In-Their-Minds".
I give homeowners who face foreclosure an option to save their credit and their dignity. I help homeonwers move on to their dreams of jumping on the trampolin with their children. I house families in their homes and to create wonderful memories.
Until God moves me, I am called to bloom where I am planted. Today, I am planted in Frisco TX and real estate is my mission field. 3:16 team REALTY was born in July 2007 and I've never looked back. I only know if I live in God's calling on my life, I can never go wrong.
With a name like 3:16, it may seem that it might scare some people away. And yes, I have 1 agenda in my mind when I put on my Realtor suit. It is to love on those who called me to serve them - be it clients or other real estate people. The love encompass a multitude of things I may do for them. It is NOT to share the Word with them. That's not my job. It is HIS job.
3:16 team REALTY stems from 1 John 3:16 that said, Now that we know what Christ has done for us, we must do for one another.
There you have it. The story of how I answered my calling. How about you? Are you answering God's calling on your life? Do you know that someone's life depends on you answering your calling??? Put that into perspective each time you do something. It will change your vision and your perspective.
As Rick Warren put it in his book, Your life is bigger than you. I say, You need to get out of the way to get His message across. So, will you do things out of your discomfort for Him? Will you do whatever it takes to fulfill the calling He has for your life? His plans are always better than yours.
PS: For my clients - Thank you so much for the opportunity to serve you. Thank you for letting me answer my calling through your real estate needs. It's not a job I take lightly.

Someone's Life Depends on You Answering Your Calling
A careful reading of history will reveal that a 'secular', 'bipartisan', 'government loving', 'one world', 'socialist', and 'progressive' movement began in our Country as early as the
beginning of the 20th Century...
In fact, The Popes of the Catholic Church in the latter years of the 19th Century warned, by encyclicals and pastoral letters, of the impending danger caused by rising materialism, godless totalitarianism, secular humanism, and modernity...and this to the entire Christian world in all hemispheres, all continents, and all Countries...
President Obama, even before he is a Democrat, is one of those self-proclaimed Progressives, a son of the ideology of Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Adlai Stevenson, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Edward Kennedy, and others...
Some of their heroes are Karl Marx, Josef Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, among others...
For those who espouse progressive ideals there is rarely thanksgiving offered for God's blessings on mankind...there is rather a dissatisfaction they express for all that currently exists...all that is orthodox is rejected...always looking for greener pastures on other sides of the fence besides that side of the fence upon which they stand...GOVERNMENT is the solution to all problems...THERE IS A SONG THEY CANNOT SING...
On the other hand, the groundswell and silent majority of us who stand opposed to these progressive values is rising and starting to permeate throughout our American
society...their song is being heard by the masses...
The values which identify these anti-progressive masses are humility, God-fearing, pro life, anti abortion, freedom loving, patriotic, constitutional, hard working, family centered, generous, selfless, and prayerful...and THESE CAN SING THE SONG...
"THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE, LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT"...!!!
Never stop singing this song, always praising The Lord...!!!

My last several posts have been somewhat political in nature, and since we all need a break from that kind of discussion, relax a bit and enjoy some of my ramblings...(random thoughts bouncing around in my
brain)...
First of all, February, because of its shortness, and heralding that the two longest and coldest months of winter are behind us, should be a source of comfort to many, especially in the colder northern States...!!! Just think, Spring is just around the corner...hmmmmm...
Sounds like a great time to show some homes to prospective purchasers...its still a little rough out there, but there should be a sufficient number of potential homebuyers eager to get rid of that 'pent up' demand, and get searching for that 'dream home'...
Interest rates are still very good, and I think lenders will be anxious to do some business as the economy shows some signs, albeit somewhat anemic, of recovering from its long drought...!!!
Anticipation of Springs arrival has always been cause for the creative part of my brain and imagination to perk up and awake from its winter hibernation...
If you're looking for some useful exercise to get involved with, try splitting some firewood...it will get you some fresh air outdoors as well as providing 'seasoned' firewood for NEXT winter...!!!
We get a chance to celebrate Groundhog day, A Superbowl game, Valentines day, President's day, Ash Wednesday, SPRING TRAINING and LIFE...!!!
Let's continue to pray for ALL public officials...and specifically for them to respect life, truth, and the entire citizenry of our great Country, over which they have been given God's Grace to serve...!!!
Have a great weekend...!!!
